“Lord, teach us to pray.”

(especially now we can’t meet up with our friends.)

Some people put special things out.

Others have a special chair.

Where or what helps you to pray?

On the first Sunday when we couldn’t go to the building.

People lit candles and prayed at home.

Some people in St. Matthews are going to carry this on each Sunday at 8pm.

Why not stand with us.

Sometimes we need the words of others to help. Check out some resources to help prayer on our Links page.

Here is Jesus’ answer to the question:

“When you pray, say:

Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.
And do not bring us to the time of trial.”
