After further consideration and discussion between St Matthew’s and Bristol Christian Fellowship we have decided to ‘pause’ the Ark Project to allow both churches to focus on other projects that they are involved with. The Ark Project was exploring how the Ark Building on Cotham Road South could be further developed by our two churches.

We will review the vision and plans for the Ark Project in a year’s time. The Ark Building remains under the ownership of Bristol Christian Fellowship and all enquiries for community rental/use can be directed to their office: 01454 613305

A huge thanks to all those who have been involved in the Ark Project and for those who took the time to fill in the community consultation form. We will let you know any future plans, if, and when they happen. If you would like to discuss this any further do get

As part of your daily routine why not set aside a few minutes and invite God’s Holy Spirit to energise and empower your witness. As you pray, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you, encourage you and affirm you in God’s love.

At the beginning of each day take a moment to ask God to speak to you through something or someone. Try to practice being aware of God in the ‘spaces’ in your day whilst walking, or driving, between tasks or even during them. Then at the end of the day, perhaps just before you go to sleep, ask God to show you where he was at work. You may be surprised!
