The church is the Body of Christ, the people of God and the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.

All Christians are filled with the Spirit.
1 Cor 12:3 “Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, ‘Jesus be cursed,’ and no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit”.
John 14:16 … The Holy Spirit will be in you.
Different people experience the Holy Spirit in different ways.
We need to be continually filled … Eph 5:18 in the Greek is keep on being filled. We ‘leak’

Why do we need the Spirit?
So we “will know the presence of God with us and so that we will be able to do greater things than Jesus has done.” John 14:18 paraphrased
So we will ‘know’ the will of God and the power of God working in us and through us.

We need to allow the Holy Spirit to
work.
Our journey of becoming is one in which God through the Holy Spirit moulds us more and more into the likeness of Christ.
It takes time for fruits to grow (Gal 5:22,23)
As God to change you, be open to the guiding of the Spirit, spend time, listen … ask to be filled daily.
Start the day opening your spiritual eyes ‘Good Morning Lord.’
Take time (10mins) each day to read and listen and receive.
