Prayer, social activities, studying God’s word and seeking to understand the place of Jesus in our lives brings laughter, learning, challenge, celebration, support and action into the lives of the members of St. Matthews House Groups. Sharing a meal together often helps to provide the place for these activities to flourish.

The groups mainly meet on a weekly basis, most in the evenings, one during the day. Small children are welcome at the daytime group.

“Supportive”, “cohesive”, “intimacy”, “mission”, “growth”, “God slot in the week”, “silence”, “friendship”, “prayer”, “vision”, “fellowship”, “church cleaning” … are a few of the ways that members of the St. Matthews House Groups describe what the groups mean to them.

There is a group that meets Tuesday mornings and evening groups that meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in different homes.
