The Matthew Tree Project is an independent faith based charity born out of love and obedience to God to meet the needs of the broken and suffering around us. It is based in Stokes Croft on Jamaica Street.

The underlying principles upon which the organisation is founded are to work in unity and partnership with local churches, other agencies, and local community groups to provide true and lasting transformational change to the lives of people of all ages and ethnic groups who are trapped in the misery of a life of poverty.

St Matthew’s is keen to support this project through donating food for the food bank that has been set up and providing volunteers to support the project in a number of different ways.
