Our playgroup provides a happy and welcoming setting for 3-5 year olds to learn through play. The hall is safe and has a wealth of toys, big and small, including a climbing frame, sand pit, home corner, dressing up clothes and bikes.

In this stimulating environment, children are free to choose activities such as painting, junk modelling, construction or table games. There are also adult led activities chosen to suit individual children which allow them to begin to explore maths, language, and science while they play. The children enjoy singing, music making, PE and story time which they do all together. On fine days children are able to go into the church garden to play, listen to stories or do some gardening.

There is a good relationship between parents and staff which includes occasional social activities and a rota system in which parents/carers help twice each half term.

The playgroup complies with Ofsted regulations and received an excellent report at its last inspection.

Our opening times are:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings: 9.15-11.45am
• Monday and Wednesday afternoons: 12.30-3pm
• Thursday mornings: 9.15-11.45am (for those children starting school in September)
