New Vicar!

We are delighted that Reverend Ian Tomkins has been appointed to be Vicar at St Matthew’s. Ian knows Bristol and its churches well, having worked closely with the clergy in Bristol diocese for the last seven and a half years as Adviser for Ministerial Support and Assistant Head of Ministry Development. Before his current role he was vicar of a benefice of two parishes in Hertfordshire. Prior to working in ministry he worked in business. We look forward to welcoming Ian, his wife Deborah and their family to the parish of St Matthew’s and to our journey together.
