Knightstone Coffee Mornings

Help needed: St Matthews runs the Knightstone House Coffee Morning on Wednesdays 10.30am-12.30pm. We make filter coffee & homemade cake; the aim is to get to know the residents and enjoy conversation with them. Some come to Tea & Chat and other events like the Carol Service. We are very short of helpers to run it and would very much appreciate anyone with 1-2 (or more) Wednesday mornings a month to join our group.

See Ann Baker for more info.

Tea & Chat

Aimed at more senior members of the congregation and neighbourhood, we are meeting in the afternoon of (usually) the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. We are just having a get together with tea and cakes with perhaps a small quiz or activity too.

This week: A Special ‘Alive’ Reminiscence Talk – come along even if you don’t normally attend; we have special visitors: the new CEO of Alive, and the President of the Grateful Trust coming too!

If you would like to come or know anyone who would like to join us please contact Jackie or the church office. Lifts can be arranged.
