Women’s Day

balloonA weekend ‘at home’ for the women of St Matt’s & their friends…a time to relax, receive from God & get to know each other better…

There will be food (lots of cake), worship, talks, work- shops & space to ‘be’.

The cost of £10 covers all meals & work-shop materials.

Our speaker is Pam Scott-Cook

“I am married to Rob and part of the leadership team at the Woodlands group of churches. I was a midwife by profession (like ‘call the midwife’) until I gave up to experience being on the receiving end! We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I love anything pastoral and enjoy preaching. Walking is another of my loves especially around the Pembrokeshire coast.”

Joyce & Chris Caithness Last Sunday

After attending St Matthew’s for nearly 40 years and many years of ministry, Chris and Joyce Caithness will be moving to Southmead in February to join Tanya and Glenn. They have lived in the Southmead parish for a good number of years and have been thinking and praying about this move to serve their local parish for a while.

Joyce will be preaching here at the 10.30am service and presiding in the evening.

Do pray for them.

Bring & Share lunch after the 10.30am service.

The Social Organising team are facilitating this and a sheet will be posted in the foyer soon with suggestions for food that you can bring. If you would like to make a donation for a leaving present for Joyce & Chris, please put your donation in a marked envelope (cheques payable to St Matthew’s PCC) and give it to the wardens/treasurer/office.
