Now in its 6th Year

Helen Phillips from the Kingsdown Association writes –
‘We hope to have a very jolly day with a programme which is very traditionally British to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee and the London Olympics. It will be held, as usual in and around St Matthew’s. We will be hoping for extra specially nice weather so we can enjoy joining in the Morris Dancing and also the Kingsdown Olympics, with such races as the 3 legged and egg and spoon (or whatever games our coaches decide upon) We need stall holders and help on the day as well as everyone to turn up and support us. We can provide good food and drink and hopefully lots to see and do.‘

Programmes will be available shortly. We need people to be on the St Matthew’s stall, to promote Back to Church Sunday, the church and Alpha. You can volunteer for the whole afternoon or just an hour or so. Please contact Ruth Rimmer if you can help
