At the ‘Everybody Welcome Day’ in September one of the ideas was to have banners in the porch with the aim of making it a more welcoming space especially to those who are visitors to St Matthew’s.

This opens up a whole new opportunity for ideas for this space. The Banner Group has some thoughts on this but would welcome ideas from the congregation in general & in particular from anyone who feels they could have any practical input with the idea of making a start on a new banner in the New Year.

Please note that sewing doesn’t have to be involved – we could use textile paints or whatever else comes to mind, which means making could be a much more rapid process!

Please speak to Ann Baker or anyone else in the Banner Group.
