Homegrown preamble

We are starting off this year’s Homegrown at St Matthews’ Church hall with an evening getting to know more about previous Homegrown charities.

Annie Syrett will give us a talk about how the project ‘Alalay’ has helped the street children of Bolivia. Hilary Green will talk on Sri Lanka and ‘Navajeevana’ and Donald Sammut will give a presentation on his work in Nepal with ‘Promise Nepal’, for those with leprosy.

Come and enjoy these stories and pictures of inspiration and hope from around the world, given by fellow Kingsdowners. There will also be refreshments. All welcome.
