Psalms in the City

As today’s women it can be hard to find out ‘who we really are’: what sort of woman has my childhood made me? What do my friends, family and workplace expect me to be? What sort of woman do adverts, films, magazines, TV tell me I should be?! In the Bible, the Psalms present us with a wonderful image of who God calls us to be and, more importantly, who God will be for us: our identity, our strength, our joy and our home.

During this weekend together ‘at home’, we will look at each of these images of God in the Psalms. There will be Bible teaching, a chance to chat together, film clips, more chance to chat, time to pray for each other, honesty, and lots of laughter.

We’ll also enjoy time to eat and worship together, and a range of creative workshops: creative writing, prayer, craft and others…
